We all know that Spring Break is an academic tradition depending on the state and the region you stay. Usually, there are festivities like a music festival and it is always joined by nightclub parties. But spring break is not just for college students. Everybody else may also have fun. Spring Break is your getaway from all the stress in school, city life and you just want to relax and enjoy the tropical climate for some time. Here is our list of The Best Cheap Spring Break Destination!

  • Myrtle Beach – Myrtle Beach is located in the beautiful South Carolina’s Atlantic coast, a 60-mile string of beaches! WOW! It is known for its wide beaches, golf links, delicious seafood restaurants and outlet-style shopping. One of the good thing here in Myrtle Beach is that it is affordable. From hotels, condos, beach homes, cabins and campgrounds, depending on your budget. One of the main attraction here is the Pirate’s Voyage and Medieval Times. There are so many things that can be done there for as low as $39 per night!

  • Daytona Beach – 20 miles beachfront and Daytona Beach is the home of the famous iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race. If you want the adrenaline rush in terms of speed then Daytona is the perfect spot for you. The lagoon water park offers laser tags, water slides and go-karts. It is fun when you are into cars. The arcades alongside beach and restaurants and a little walk in the shore afterwards on its breathtaking view. Daytona Bike Week and Biketoberfest are the regular events occurring yearly.

It is the peak season and you can catch up some cheap deals from flights up to hotels.

  • Puerto Rico – Puerto Rico is one of the wonderful islands of Caribbean. It has landscapes of mountains, waterfalls and the famous El Yunque tropical forest. The best month to go to Puerto Rico is from December to April because of the island’s tropical climate and temperature. Some popular events are in Ponce’s pre-Lenten Carnival and The Casals Classical Music Festival that is happening around February up to April. The delicious Saborea Food Festival is happening this April. Flights and hotels are all budget friendly as it is the peak season and expect more tourists yearly. Nothing to worry about money because Puerto Rico has the same currency as the US and it is a 3-hour flight from Miami.

  • Miami – Hello East side! Some of us think that going to Miami is very expensive but we are all wrong! Actually you can book a flight there for less than a $200! If you want to experience some what they call the “exotic nightlife” then Miami is the right destination to go to this spring break.

New Orleans also known as the “Big Easy’ is known for its vibrant live-music scene, round-the-clock parties and nightlife, delicious cuisines that are all inspired from French, African and American cultures. It is not that expensive because based on my research for only $50 per night you can enjoy the scene of New Orleans. The best time to go to New Orleans is between September up to May if you want to experience the cool weather and the celebrations are everywhere too including the Mardi Gras and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Make sure to book your flights and tickets as early as possible.

  • Tybee Island – The Tybee Island is known for its local history. One of the famous sites there is 19th-century concrete gun batteries in Fort Screven and the Tybee Island Light Station and Museum. Rent a bed and breakfast near the shore line for as low as $50 per night. You can also enjoy the view of the coast line when you rent a paddle board and relax! The best time to go Tybee Island is spring as the Savannah blooms! If you want to really learn the word “relaxation” then Tybee Island is the right destination for you!

  • Palm Springs – Who says you need a beach to relax this spring? Hello to Palm Springs! Located in the Sonoran Desert of Southern California. Palm Springs is known for its midcentury-modern architecture elegant classy hotels, golf courses and spas. The activities you can do here are horseback riding trails, hiking and biking in the famous Coachella Valley. The best time to go in Palm Springs is between January up to April. Well if you love the heat of the sun, you should probably go and enjoy the summer there. For as low as $30 per night you can enjoy weekends with your family.

  • San Diego – San Diego is located in the beautiful Pacific coast. It is famous for its beaches, parks and warm weather. Balboa Park is the center of attraction in the renowned San Diego Zoo.
