Presidents Day is almost up and that means hello discounts, sales and freebies everywhere in local major stores and in online. Most of the sales occur when they want to clear up their inventory and store up new ones or should I say the out of the trend items. Winter is ending so hello spring and summer items.Have you already decided what to buy? If not yet, we are here to help you decide! Of course we recommend pocket friendly prices! - Coat – Believe me or not there are sales everywhere under this apparel. It comes in different sizes, designs, brands, colors and it can be worn during rainy days to make us cozy and warm! Who cares if your coat is not on the latest trend next winter? The important thing is that you saved a lot of money. Come on, people won’t come up to you and say “Hey, your coat is not on the trend this year!” Right guys?
- Gloves and Hats – These pair of gloves and hats always comes in handy but it is the number 1 item that we always lost or misplace during winter! So why not buy a dozen of it? In different colors and styles. So when you lose one, you will never worry what to pair the other one because you have tons of gloves! For the hats, I recommend buying neutral color because it goes perfectly with almost all the styles of your outfit.
- Shoes – This is one of the most common finds every clearance sale. You can find tons of different winter boots and they will suffice for the whole winter and for next winter. They also come with socks. We don’t need to buy new shoes if the ones we are using are still in good condition. Right? But since its clearance sale, we can’t resist but SPEND! It is not bad to spend if we spend the money that we earned from hard work. So smile!
- General Food – Do you love to store frozen foods? Or any foods that can be found in the rack of the supermarket? Because me, I like it fresh and I have my own little garden of vegetables. Well, anyways try checking out Walmart and Target. Under the food section. They always have sales. Who knows, the most delicious bacon that you want is up for sale! Storing frozen foods is not a bad idea. It actually saves money when you store easy to cook frozen foods!
- Food Storage – Okay, during winter we cook a lot of warm foods to help us feel warm. But is your storage enough to store all the leftovers? Probably not, most of the food related items are on sale. From food sealer, food storage and many more. Be sure to check Amazon for more choices and brands of different types of food storage.
- Jewelry – We all know that Valentine’s day is over but not for the leftover items in all major stores! You might want to check out your favorite local store. That necklace that you really like must have cut the price to half! You can still find customized items in stores and grab it for your mom on mother’s day. It is a good idea to buy as early as possible because the items are all on sale! Just make sure you keep it safe so your loved ones won’t see it before the big day
- Heaters – Feel warm and fuzzy with the portable heaters for your favorite spot in your house like the patio. Lots of brands, and the prices are somewhat reasonable. No one wants to stock all of those heaters this coming summer, right? Then why not grab it for your house and for your own comfort?
- Designer Clothing for Men – All department stores have their own branded clothing line for men. Those pricey tags before will now go down. Do you love buying clothes for your husband? Boyfriend? Dad? Well, now is your time to get them designer branded clothes so they will look fabulous the next winter!
- Winter Car Gear – We all love winter. But not all, I guess? Okay let us all talk about our beloved cars. For emergency purposes, our cars are stock in a pile of snow and we don’t have the right equipment to pull off our car. Ring a bell? Yes, we need winter tools such as winter scraper and emergency car kit. Try to visit your nearest auto car shop. There might be a great deal for your car there.
- Winter Sporting Goods – All the stores both local and online always make room for spring and summer items. So all of the ski equipment and snowboard must go. Buying these items this early will save you tons of money because of the bargain price they are offering that you can’t resist.
- Denim – Our favorite designer brands of denim are on sale every occasion. So when you find your favorite brand, buy them and stock up for the upcoming events and sell the old ones so it is a win-win situation. Denim wear is not hard to pair up with other clothes. All you need is more confidence when you wear it!
- Winter Bedding – All people need to be comfortable when going to sleep. We all want that after a long tiring day from work. So now is the right time to change all those old blankets and comforters because of hello to sale! Make sure to check out your local store and in online for winter clearance sales. It is usually up to 70% off on selected items.
- Electronics – Let us all admit it, most of us rely on electronics. From blenders, TV, laptops and many more tech products. Every year in the month of January at Las Vegas, there is a show called “The Consumer Electronics Show” that introduces new gadgets to the whole world and that means the old models will be out in the stocks soon and replace it with the new ones. It is a sign that our phones and any other gadgets must be changed too but guys, please buy depending on your budget. We don’t need new gadgets if our gadgets can’t be fixed.
- Sleeping Bags – If winter hits you and you want to be warm always, make sure to have a sleeping bag. It is warm and cozy inside! (Believe me because I have 2 of those bad boy!) Now make sure to check in your local sporting goods shop and look for different sizes of sleeping bags. Colors of your choice too. I always choose warm colors to keep me warm always!
- Mattresses – Macy’s, the number 1 mattress shop! They are always on sale with up to 70% off on our favorite selected mattress brands. Change all the old mattresses that our kids have already made something splashy and squishy in there. Right? Most of the items in Macy’s have bedding on it when you purchase a specific brand of mattress and it also comes with free shipping. Make sure to visit the nearest Macy’s outlet.
- Large Appliances – Best Buy, Home Depot and Lowe’s are top stores who sell large appliances. Name it! They all have it and they give 25% up to 50% off on selected items. If the price of the appliance is too big for you, you can always apply for a payment plans and all their large appliances comes with free delivery or in-store pickups.
